These terms govern your use of contentsafer.com and any services provided by ContentSafer. By using the website you agree to them. Client engagements are also governed by a separate service agreement; if the two conflict, the service agreement prevails.
Our services
ContentSafer monitors online platforms for content that infringes our clients’ copyrights, trademarks and other rights, and files notices and complaints on their behalf as an authorised agent. The scope, platforms, reporting and fees for each client are set out in the service agreement.
Authorisation and client responsibilities
- Clients confirm that they own or are licensed to enforce the rights they ask us to protect, and provide accurate supporting documents.
- Clients authorise us to act as their agent for the agreed scope and tell us promptly about licences, partners and changes in ownership.
- Clients remain responsible for decisions to bring legal proceedings.
No guarantee of removal
Removal decisions are made by the platforms, hosts and registrars that receive our notices. We use professional care and experience to maximise results, but we cannot guarantee that any particular content will be removed or stay removed, or how quickly a third party will act.
Use of the website
You agree not to:
- submit false, misleading or abusive reports through our forms;
- attempt to access systems or data you are not authorised to access;
- interfere with the website’s operation or use automated means to overload it;
- use the website in violation of any law or of our acceptable use policy.
Intellectual property
The website, the ContentSafer name and logo, and all content we publish are owned by ContentSafer or its licensors. Client names and logos are trademarks of their respective owners. You may not copy or reuse our content without written permission, except as allowed by law.
Confidentiality
We treat client documents, brand strategies and case information as confidential and use them only to provide the services, except where disclosure is necessary to file a notice or is required by law.
Disclaimer

Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, ContentSafer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, revenue or data, arising from use of the website. Our total liability for any claim relating to the website is limited to one hundred US dollars. Liability under client engagements is set out in the service agreement.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify ContentSafer against claims arising from information you submit that is false or that you are not entitled to share, including reports of infringement made in bad faith.
